St. Francis is a perfect 4-0 against Inderkum since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Troubadours will head out to square off against the Tigers at 4:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
St. Francis took a six-run loss the last time they faced off against Oak Ridge, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Troubadours came out on top in a nail-biter against the Trojans on Wednesday, sneaking past 7-5.
Kaili H. spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered five earned runs on eight hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Marissa Jensen, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two doubles, and one run. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high. Alexis McFarland was another key player, earning three runs and one stolen base.
Meanwhile, Inderkum entered their tilt with McClatchy on Friday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Lions a 4-0 shutout.
The result came thanks to Samantha Atteberry's shutout, as she gave up just four hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Brielle Collins was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run. Another player making a difference was Ambrosia Estacio, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
St. Francis' record now sits at 6-7. As for Inderkum, their record is now 12-2.
St. Francis got the 'W' when the teams last played back in March of 2024 against Inderkum by a conclusive 11-5 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Troubadours since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
