It was a good run, but the Concordia Fighting Orioles unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They had to suffer through a rough 76-23 loss at the hands of Tipton. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Concordia has scored all season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Tipton to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ava Schlotzhauer, who scored 19 points along with nine rebounds and six assists. Those six assists set a new season-high mark for her. Clara Williams was another key contributor, almost dropping a triple-double on 11 points, nine rebounds, and ten steals.
Concordia's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Tipton, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-1.
Concordia will head out on the road to face off against Cole Camp at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tipton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against El Dorado Springs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Missouri (El Dorado Springs is ranked 19th, while Tipton is ranked 14th).
