 Ava Moscaritolo (2027) made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   pitching 2.2 innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  getting on base  in three of her five plate appearances with one  run and one  RBI.
 In other batting news, Haverhill let  Emma Proia (2027) and  Emmy Monrreal (2025) run wild. Proia (2027)  went 3-for-5 with two  runs, two  RBI,  and one  double, while  Monrreal (2025)  went 2-for-4 with one  stolen base, two  RBI,  and one  run. That  stolen base was  Monrreal (2025)'s first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Molly Tabb (2025), who  went 3-for-6 with two  runs and one  RBI.
 Haverhill  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 15  hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  got at least 13  hits in three consecutive  matchups.
Haverhill now  has a winning record of 9-8. As for Lowell,  they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-9.
 Haverhill and Lowell could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage  in the MaxPreps Massachusetts Rankings. The Hillies (ranked 104th) will meet Andover (ranked 33rd)  at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday. Meanwhile,  Lowell will  challenge  Billerica Memorial  at 10:00  a.m.  on Sunday with a big rank  disadvantage  (200 vs. 92).
