With a playoff win on the line, Camden rose to the challenge on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Wall Township Crimson Knights 43-7. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by 28 points or more this season.

Camden had a senior duo take command as Ahmad Jones threw for 270 yards and three touchdowns while completing 71.4% of his passes and Ibn Muhammad picked up 150 receiving yards and a pair of scores. Jones has been hot recently, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last four times he's played. Storm McCrea also helped out with an impressive 95 receiving yards.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Camden's defense and their seven sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Jerome Foster and Haleem Muhammad, who racked up five sacks between them.

Camden is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 9.1 points on average over those games. As for Wall Township, they moved to 8-3 with that defeat, which also ended their eight-game winning streak.

Camden and Wall Township are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. The Panthers will take on Haddonfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (Camden 10.5, the Bulldawgs 11.4) so any points scored will be well earned. As for Wall Township, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Manasquan at 10:00 a.m. on the 27th. The Warriors' defense has only allowed 14.7 points per game this season, so the Crimson Knights' offense will have their work cut out for them.
