The Manchester Red Hawks will stay at home for another game and welcome the Northwest Catholic Lions at 6:30 p.m. on January 23rd. Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Tiara Tyson, who scored 27 points along with six rebounds. That was a full 56.3% of Manchester's points, marking the 12th time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Mia Gilbert was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Meanwhile, Northwest Catholic can now show off five landslide victories after their most recent match on Monday. They blew past Fitch 69-43. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Northwest Catholic has posted since December 19, 2023.
Manchester's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-5. As for Northwest Catholic, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-3.
