Lauren Falls made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out 13 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 5.8 strikeouts per game. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 4-for-4 with five RBI, one run, and one double. Looking ahead, Palmetto will face off against Palmer Trinity at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lourdes Academy, they will challenge Marathon at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Marathon knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with ten runs or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Lourdes Academy likes a good challenge.
