The Eastern Christian HomeSchool Trailblazers won the last time they faced the Terra Ceia Christian Knights, and things went their way on Friday too. Eastern Christian HomeSchool walked away with a 59-49 victory over Terra Ceia Christian.
Despite the loss, Terra Ceia Christian saw an underclassman step up: Seth Meijer dropped a double-double on 13 points and 14 rebounds. Meijer is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted two or more in the last ten games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Ange, who scored 11 points.
Eastern Christian HomeSchool now has a winning record of 13-12. As for Terra Ceia Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Eastern Christian HomeSchool and New Bern Christian Academy will face off at 7:00 p.m. on January 29th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hopefully New Bern Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 last Tuesday. As for Terra Ceia Christian, they will head out on the road to square off against Pamlico Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
