Pendleton Heights found their leader in sophomore Joel Weaver, who rushed for 210 yards and three scores on only eight carries. Those 210 rushing yards set a new season-high mark for Weaver. Another player making a difference was Brandt Gray, who threw for 150 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 75% of his passes.
Pendleton Heights' run defense was locked in: Shelbyville could only muster 3.4 yards per carry. The team can thank Dj McCrary for the heroic effort on defense: he. Pendleton Heights didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 12.4.
