Hough won the last time they faced Northern Guilford and things went their way on Friday too. The Huskies put the hurt on the Nighthawks with a sharp 9-2 victory. The game marked Hough's most dominant win of the season so far.

Their offense was hitting Northern Guilford from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Piercon Selland led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by himself.

The victory (which was Hough's third in a row) raised their record to 4-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 20 goals over those three matchups. As for Northern Guilford, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Looking ahead, Hough will take on Middle Creek at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Northern Guilford, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on South Iredell at 6:30 p.m. on September 2.
