The Boiling Springs Bulldogs will be taking part in a tournament against the Woodruff Wolverines at 1:00 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Having struggled with four losses in a row, Boiling Springs turned things around against Spartanburg Christian Academy on Saturday. They came out on top against the Warriors by a score of 39-27.

Boiling Springs found their leader in sophomore Makenzie Kinard, who posted 19 points along with six steals and five boards. Kinard has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Karina Tsisun, who had six points in addition to nine boards and three steals.
Boiling Springs was working as a unit and finished the game with ten assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in January.
Meanwhile, after only 24 points in their last contest, Woodruff made sure to put some points up on the board against High Point Academy on Saturday. Woodruff breezed by High Point Academy to the tune of 68-23. The Wolverines have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 30 points or more this season.
Woodruff's win came from a few key players Boiling Springs will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Jensyn Turner, who almost dropped a double-double on 21 points and nine boards. She is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Jordan Robinson, who went 7 of 16 on her way to 21 points and six steals.
Boiling Springs' victory bumped their record up to 3-8. As for Woodruff, their win bumped their record up to 11-2.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Boiling Springs has crashing the boards this season, having averaged 34.3 boards per game. However, it's not like Woodruff struggles in that department as they've been averaging 32.6 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
