Dowagiac put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victors by a 12-3 margin over the Northridge Raiders. The Chieftains might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by six runs or more this season.
Bree Campbell made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 13 over five innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.
