The Sparkman Senators will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against the Huntsville Panthers at 7:00 p.m. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Saturday, Sparkman kept a clean sheet against Scottsboro. Everything went their way against the Wildcats as they made off with a 10-0 win. The win made it back-to-back wins for Sparkman.
Meanwhile, Huntsville sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over Prattville on Saturday. The win was just what Huntsville needed coming off of a 3-0 loss in their prior matchup.
They were led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Lucy Treusdell and
Chloe Curry, who scored both of Huntsville's goals. The pair have combined for a total of three so far this season.
Sparkman now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Huntsville, they now have a winning record of 3-2-1.
