Dermott waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They snuck past the Monticello Billies with a 57-51 win. That's more bragging rights for the Rams, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Dermott has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.6 points per game. As for Monticello, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dermott will face off against Brinkley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Brinkley knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine contests -- so hopefully Dermott likes a good challenge. As for Monticello, they will square off against Hamburg at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Monticello is facing Hamburg at the right time seeing as Hamburg is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
