The Quincy Trojans's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fifth straight loss. Their rough 52-29 loss to Lowry might stick with them for a while. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Quincy has scored all season.
Lowry was led to victory by Jaden Jimenez and Matthew Casalez. Jimenez scored 12 points along with three steals, while Casalez scored 17 points. Those 17 points set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Anthony Guzman, who scored four points along with five steals.
Quincy has fallen quite a ways from their 21-5 record last season and are now at 1-8. As for Lowry, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Quincy will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Lassen at 7:30 p.m. on December 16th. Lassen is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 53.4 points per game. Lowry and South Tahoe will face off at 7:30 p.m. on December 20th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in their respective states (South Tahoe is ranked 42nd in California, while Lowry is ranked 37th in Nevada).
