A District 13 recap Oct. 3, 2012
Dresden extended the longest winning streak in A District 13 this week by beating West Carroll, 13-7. This was the team's seventh consecutive win.
Dresden and the War Eagles played the most hotly contested game in the league this week, with Dresden eventually emerging with a 13-7 victory.
Huntingdon's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Jacob Warbritton threw for 11 yards and Glynn Hillard had 11 yards receiving. On the ground Warbritton chipped in 237 yards.
Huntingdon's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Mustangs feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Warbritton has thrown for 494 yards and seven touchdowns this season, while Taylor McCarty has four catches for 148 yards. Warbritton also leads the league in rushing with 1417 yards.
The Mustangs took down Gleason 43-14 last week, the largest margin of any game. Warbritton in the win.
