It was a good run, but Bardstown unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Saturday. They lost to the Taylor County Cardinals on the road by a 63-47 margin. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Cardinals this season, with their most recent defeat being a 55-42 loss back in December of 2024.

Bardstown's defeat dropped their record down to 16-14. As for Taylor County, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 24-8.

Bardstown does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Taylor County, they will face off against Knott County Central at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Knott County Central knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past ten matchups -- so hopefully Taylor County likes a good challenge.
