The Madison Mohawks were the 41-35 winner over the Eaton Eagles when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Madison was just a bucket shy of victory on Friday and fell 49-48 to Eaton. Madison just can't catch a break and has now endured three defeats in a row.
Madison lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Drew Whisman, who scored 12 points. Another player making a difference was Jaylin Pendleton, who scored ten points along with two steals and two blocks.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Madison will take on Ansonia at 7:15 p.m. on Saturday. Ansonia is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Eaton, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Edgewood at 7:15 p.m. on January 13th. Edgewood is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak.
