The McKinney Lions will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against the Braswell Bengals at 6:00 p.m. on December 19th. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
On Friday, it was a hard-fought game, but McKinney had to settle for a 54-51 defeat against Rock Hill. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as McKinney came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 140th, while Rock Hill is ranked 339th).
Meanwhile, after a string of eight wins, Braswell's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell to Allen 37-33.
McKinney bumped their record down to 9-10 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Braswell, their loss dropped their record down to 14-3.
McKinney came up short against Braswell when the teams last played back in January, falling 58-47. Can McKinney avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
