Football Recap: Richland Skates Past Community with Ease + How To Watch

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Richland). They breezed past the Community Vikings/Viqueens to the tune of 42-8 on Friday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Raiders considering their seven-point performance the game before.

Jake Sands continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 31 yards and one score, while also picking up 69 receiving yards.

Richland now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Community, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Coming up, Richland will be playing in front of their home fans against Eagleville on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Raiders 14.8, the Eagles 11.6) so any points scored will be well earned. As for Community, they will venture away from home to take on Watertown at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Purple Tigers will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Vikings/Viqueens surely won't give up without a fight.
