The Edmonson County Wildcats will head out on the road to challenge the Marion County Knights at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Kentucky (Edmonson County is ranked 226th, while Marion County is ranked 238th).
Edmonson County pushed their score all the way to 68 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They had to suffer through a rough 97-68 loss at the hands of Butler County. Edmonson County has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Meanwhile, Marion County came into Monday's contest having lost 14 straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against Garrard County by a score of 62-49 on Monday.
Edmonson County has not been sharp recently as the team has lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season. As for Marion County, their victory ended a nine-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-19.
