Edmonson County pushed their score all the way to 68 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They had to suffer through a rough 97-68 loss at the hands of Butler County. Edmonson County has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Meanwhile, Marion County came into Monday's contest having lost 14 straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against Garrard County by a score of 62-49 on Monday.
Edmonson County has not been sharp recently as the team has lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season. As for Marion County, their victory ended a nine-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-19.
