The Midland Trail Patriots will head out on the road to face off against the Pocahontas County Warriors at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. Midland Trail will be strutting in after a victory while Pocahontas County will be coming in after a defeat.
Last Tuesday, Midland Trail beat Summers County 56-47. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Midland Trail.
Bryar Bailes was the offensive standout of the game as he dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds. Jaden Gladwell was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Meanwhile, Pocahontas County had to suffer through a rough 62-32 loss at the hands of Pendleton County.
Midland Trail's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Pocahontas County, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
