Macon County fell 44-37 to White House on Friday. Macon County just can't catch a break and has now endured three losses in a row.
Macon County lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Kaydence Walrond, who scored 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Laityn Kirby, who scored 12 points.
Macon County's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 17-9. As for White House, their win bumped their record up to 13-11.
Macon County will head out on the road to square off against Portland at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Portland will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Macon County surely won't give up without a fight. As for White House, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Station Camp at 6:00 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Tennessee (Station Camp is ranked 184th, while White House is ranked 169th).
