The Linsly Cadets will head out on the road to  challenge  the John Marshall Monarchs at 5:00  p.m.  on Wednesday.
 Linsly unfortunately witnessed the end of their  four-game winning streak dating back to last season on Tuesday. They fell just short of University by a score of  6-5.
  Jaxon Murray put in work no matter where he played. He  pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits (he also only allowed one  walk). Murray was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring two  runs while going 2-for-3.
 In other batting news,  Kyle White and  Jack Selmon stepped up to the plate in a big way.  White  went 1-for-3 with a  stolen base and two  RBI, while  Selmon  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-4.
 Meanwhile, John Marshall never let their opponents score on Friday. They put the hurt on Berkeley Springs with a sharp  11-0 victory. The  win was just what John Marshall needed coming off of  a  12-5 loss in their prior  match.
 Linsly's record is now 1-1. As for John Marshall,  the  victory  got them back to even at 1-1.
