Aaliyah Anderson was the offensive standout of the match as she dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 boards. What's more, she also racked up two steals, the most she's had since back in January of 2024. Amaya Allen was another key player, putting up seven points.
Meanwhile, Hertford County played a tough game on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against First Flight, falling 60-25. The Bears were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-8.
Camden County will have to contain Karae' Alfred as she made an impact in Hertford County's last game. She posted seven points along with seven boards and three blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Belle Wadsworth, who put up four points and six steals.
Camden County's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-10. As for Hertford County, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Camden County has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 23.8 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Hertford County struggles in that department as they've been averaging 27.6 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
