Adding to the longest winning streak in Cook Inlet this week, West beat Service 28-16. This was the team's ninth consecutive win.
West led the league in scoring this week by notching 28 points on the Cougars.
Service's CJ Toomer and Thavun Srisaneha have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. 5-11 quarterback Toomer has thrown for 2,654 yards this season, while Srisaneha has 38 catches for 759 yards. Lui Fa'amasino from Tim Davis' team leads the league in rushing with 702 yards.
The Eagles made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 1,287 from 1,725. The advance stemmed from a 28-16 victory over Kevin Kern's team last week.
