The Buchtel Griffins lost against the Mogadore Wildcats back in November of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Buchtel took a hard 49-35 fall against Mogadore.
Mogadore can attribute much of their success to Olivia Kidd, who scored 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Amelia Morris, who scored 8 points along with 10 rebounds and 4 steals.
Buchtel's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Mogadore, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Buchtel will challenge Ellet at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Ellet focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Thursday. As for Mogadore, they will head out on the road to face off against Southeast at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Southeast will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive.
