Make it seven blowout wins for the Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory Braves this season. They claimed a resounding 78-51 win over Indianapolis Metropolitan on the road. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Evan Haywood out in front who scored 20 points along with eight rebounds. Haywood is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last nine games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Quinn Warren, who scored 16 points along with two steals and two blocks.
Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-4. As for Indianapolis Metropolitan, their loss dropped their record down to 6-10.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory will take on Guerin Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Guerin Catholic focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 last Saturday. As for Indianapolis Metropolitan, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Riverside at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
