The Woodbury Royals entered their tilt with the Irondale Knights with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Woodbury took down Irondale 81-65 on Tuesday. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Irondale lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Latrell Baggett, who scored 17 points along with six steals and five assists. Baggett is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jake Dedominces, who scored 24 points.
Woodbury's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Irondale, their loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-2.
Woodbury will play host again and welcome Roseville, where tip off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Irondale, they will head out on the road to face off against Cretin-Derham Hall at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
