Make it five blowout wins for the Lincoln County Lions this season. They blew past Thompson Falls 64-36 at home on Saturday. Winning may never get old, but Lincoln County sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Parker Bates was a one-man wrecking crew for Lincoln County as he went 6 for 8 from beyond the arc en route to 23 points and 0 assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Bates has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Braden Casazza, who scored 15 points along with five rebounds and two blocks.
Lincoln County pushed their record up to 12-3 with that victory, which was their seventh straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.4 points per game. As for Thompson Falls, their loss dropped their record down to 8-6.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lincoln County will face off against the Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Ignatius is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak. As for Thompson Falls, they will head out on the road to take on the Trojans at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
