Inspired Vision has been on the road for two straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will be home for the holidays to greet the Life Oak Cliff Lions at 6:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Inspired Vision pushed their score all the way to 56 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They suffered a tough 78-56 loss at the hands of Robinson.
Loss or not, Inspired Vision got some senior leadership from Gabriel Kalala who scored 24 points and Tyree Sheffield who scored 21 points. The matchup was Sheffield's 14th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Frank Ovalle, who scored seven points.
Life Oak Cliff has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They fell 46-33 to St. Stephen's Episcopal last Friday.
Inspired Vision has not been sharp recently, as they've lost eight of their last ten matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season. As for Life Oak Cliff, their loss dropped their record down to 13-6.
Inspired Vision was dealt a bruising 80-39 loss at the hands of Life Oak Cliff when the teams last played back in January. Can Inspired Vision avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
