Calvary Baptist needed a changed in momentum after dropping four straight games and they got it from  Lydia Guisler. The Calvary Baptist Eagles walked away with  a   44-34  victory over the Faith West Academy Eagles  on Friday thanks in part to  Guisler, who  posted 24  points in addition to six  steals and five  rebounds. Guisler is  crushing it when it comes to  steals: she's   grabbed at least two every time she's  taken the court this season.
  Avery Edwards was another key player,  almost  dropping  a double-double on nine  boards and nine  steals. Those nine  steals gave  her a new career-high.
Calvary Baptist's win  ended  a  three-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 9-8. As for Faith West Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-10.
 Coincidentally,  both  will both be playing St. Joseph Catholic the next time they take the court. Faith West Academy will  host St. Joseph Catholic at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday, while Calvary Baptist will  host them  at 6:00  p.m.  on January 31st.
