The Central Jaguars lost against the Milton Panthers back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Central fell 45-32 to Milton. Central has not had much luck with Milton recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.
Central lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Hatcher Sasha, who scored 14 points. Lakin Mathews was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with three steals.
Central's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Milton, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-8.
Central will look to defend their home court on Friday against Flomaton at 6:00 p.m. Flomaton has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 4. As for Milton, they will head out on the road to take on Navarre at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Florida (Navarre is ranked 224th, while Milton is ranked 228th).
