Softball Recap: Watsonville Snaps Three-Game Streak of Losses at Home

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Alisal, Watsonville was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They walked away with a 6-3 victory over the North Salinas Vikings. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 8-5 on Wednesday.

Ruiz Bella was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and four RBI. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high.

Watsonville's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-6. As for North Salinas, they dropped their record down to 4-10 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Watsonville has already played their next matchup, a 17-1 victory against Greenfield on the 12th. As for North Salinas, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 7-5 win against Alisal on the 12th.
