The Milton-Union Bulldogs waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with six straight wins but they left with seven. They blew past Brookville 53-31. Milton-Union has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 22 points or more this season.
It was another big night for Jenna Brumbaugh, who scored 26 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played. Ava Berberich was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with six assists and five rebounds.
Milton-Union has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-2 record this season. As for Brookville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-10.
Milton-Union will be playing at home against Troy Christian at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Troy Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 last Saturday. As for Brookville, they will head out on the road to square off against Madison at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Madison will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak alive.
