On Friday Pocahontas take on South Hamilton at 7:00 PM. Pocahontas aren't expected to win, but seeing as the odds didn't stop them last game, maybe the team has another upset up their sleeve.
It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Pocahontas ultimately got the result it was hoping for last Friday. They dodged a bullet, finishing off Ogden 22-21. The success made it back-to-back wins for Pocahontas.
Meanwhile, after a big victory against Madrid two weeks ago, South Hamilton came back down to earth. South Hamilton didn't finish too far behind, but the squad still lost 8-14 to South Central Calhoun. South Hamilton's low-scoring defeat was the unsatisfying follow-up to their high-scoring outing the contest before.
Pocahontas's victory lifted them to 3-3 while South Hamilton's loss dropped them down to 4-2. We'll see if Pocahontas' success rolls on or if South Hamilton are able to steal their positive momentum.
