The biggest upset of the week belonged to Pleasant Ridge, who took down 171st ranked Maur Hill Prep-Mount Academy, 46-38.
McLouth extended the longest winning streak in Delaware Valley this week by beating Valley Falls, 36-6. The victory was the fourth in a row for the Bulldogs.
The Junior Ravens' dynamic duo of Brock Hanf and Cody Calhoon proved tough for the Rams to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Hanf threw for 388 yards and four touchdowns and Calhoon had 166 yards receiving. Brian Scott helped Maur Hill Prep-Mount Academy's passing attack out by catching nine balls for 142 yards.
Drew Sachen was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 27 carries, he ran for 120 yards as Immaculata fell to Pleasant Ridge. Dustin Jostmeyer also contributed to the rushing game with 72 yards on the ground.
Jermaine Monroe's team's Hanf and Scott have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Hanf has thrown for 1590 yards this season, while Scott, a 6-foot-1 receiver, has 49 catches for 699 yards. The Raiders' Sachen leads the league in rushing yards with 906.
Sachen of the Immaculata is only 94 yards short of surpassing 1,000 rushing yards for the season.
A big matchup in Delaware Valley this week will be when the Dragons take on Jefferson County North. At the moment, Valley Falls is in sixth, while the Chargers are in fourth.
Jefferson County North was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from seventh to fourth in the league. Earlier in the week, Mark Mcmillan's team triumphed over Oskaloosa 47-12.
