Perry County Central put the finishing touches on their 15th blowout victory of the season  on Friday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Knott County Central Patriots  a   10-0 shutout. The  win was nothing new for Perry County Central as they're now sitting on four straight.
  Alyssa Dixon and  Taylan Hoskins did most of the damage at the plate:  Dixon  scored three  runs and  stole three bases while  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances, while  Hoskins  went 1-for-2 with a  home run and four  RBI. Dixon is on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as she's  now  stolen  at least one in the last three games she's  played.  Lauren Morris was another key contributor,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 1-for-2.
 Perry County Central's victory bumped their record up to 18-9. As for Knott County Central, their loss dropped their record down to 10-13.
 Perry County Central is on the road again  on Saturday to play Harlan at 12:00  p.m. Perry County Central knows how to get  runs on the board -- the  squad has finished with flashy  run totals in its past four matchups -- so hopefully Harlan likes a good challenge. As for Knott County Central, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Floyd Central at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
