It was another big night for Tamia Watkins, who dropped a double-double on 41 points and 13 rebounds for Andrew Jackson. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Watkins has scored all season. Ni?Yonna Asbelle was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with seven assists and five steals.
North Central's loss was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Andrew Jackson, the victory was the 14th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 20-4.
North Central will head out on the road to take on the Golden Rams at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Chesterfield presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Knights in South Carolina (the Golden Rams are ranked 101st, while the Knights are ranked 276th). As for Andrew Jackson, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Eagles at 6:15 p.m. Hopefully Central focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 20 last Wednesday.
