Jacaiya Perry spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and two unearned) runs on five hits and racked up seven Ks. Those seven strikeouts gave her a new career-high.

On the hitting side, Autauga Academy got a massive performance out of Destinee Carroll, who scored four runs and stole Three bases. while going 3-for-3. The dominant performance gave Carroll a new career-high in runs. Another player making a difference was Teonna Davis, who scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-4.

Autauga Academy's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-5. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Alabama Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 8-6.
