Rangely has enjoyed a five-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will  square off against the Moffat County Bulldogs at 3:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Rangely is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 11.9  runs per game  this season.

 The team  relied heavily on  Landon Bollinger, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 4-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of  Braden Lucas, who  went 2-for-4 with a  home run and three  RBI.
 Meanwhile, Moffat County was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight  defeat. They lost  17-8 to Roaring Fork.
 Moffat County saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Owen Hill, who  went 2-for-3 with a  triple, a  run,  and  an  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Ayden Alexander, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-3.
 Rangely's victory bumped their record up to 10-6-1. As for Moffat County, their loss dropped their record down to 2-17.
Moffat County's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them:  Rangely has been making plenty of contact this season,  having  averaged 9.1  hits per game. It's a different story for Moffat County, though, as  they've been averaging 12.9. Given Rangely's sizable advantage in that area, Moffat County will need to find a way to close that gap.
 Rangely skirted past Moffat County  11-10 in their previous meeting  back in May of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Rangely since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
