After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Versailles, the Tippecanoe Red Devils were happy to have found some success on Wednesday. They strolled past Stebbins with points to spare, taking the game 41-23. That's another feather in the cap for Tippecanoe, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Several Indians players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Aubrey Fritz, who scored nine points along with nine rebounds and six steals. Fritz hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. Alianna Davis was another key contributor, scoring seven points.
Tippecanoe has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. As for Stebbins, their loss dropped their record down to 10-6.
Tippecanoe will head out on the road to face off against West Carrollton at 11:45 a.m. on Saturday. Hopefully West Carrollton focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up eight on Wednesday. As for Stebbins, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Greenville at 11:45 a.m. Greenville comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 25 points in their last six games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
