Pennington is 0-3 against Hill School since January of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. The Pennington Red Raiders will head out on the road to square off against the Hill School Rams at 11:00 a.m. Pennington knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three contests -- so hopefully Hill School likes a good challenge.
Pennington stacked a seventh blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They beat International Community by the very same score they won with last week: 67-45. Given Pennington's advantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 12th in New Jersey, while International Community is ranked 598th in Florida), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Hill School beat Blair Academy 53-49 on Saturday.
Pennington has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. As for Hill School, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.
Pennington came up short against Hill School in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, falling 71-65. Can Pennington avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
