She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up a single earned run in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI. That stolen base marked the first that she snagged this season.

In other batting news, Aubrey Wigginton was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played.
Scott County hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in nine consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Madison Central was able to grind out a solid win over Madison Southern last Wednesday, taking the game 9-6. The victory continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won nine in a row.
The team relied heavily on Devan Stewart, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Reille Parks, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.
Scott County pushed their record up to 13-1 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.2 runs over those games. As for Madison Central, their record is now 9-2.
Both Scott County and Madison Central just can't seem to miss. The Cardinals have been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 11.3 hits per game. However, it's not like Madison Central struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 4.7 hits.
