Jillian Bradley made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 12 batters over seven innings while giving up seven earned (and one unearned) runs off ten hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in 19 consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-5 with two RBI and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April.
In other batting news, Aubrey Dehart was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI. Those two hits gave her a new career-high. Ella Garcia also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
Pen Argyl's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-5. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.7 runs over those games. As for Bangor, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-10.
