Jurisah Bailey continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 30 points and 13 rebounds. Bailey is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Annalise De beer, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 16 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Patel earned a 46-37 victory over Zephyrhills Christian Academy on Wednesday.
Patel's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but SIMARKAE MCLEAN led the charge by scoring 20 points along with three steals. That makes it 14 consecutive games in which MCLEAN has scored at least a third of Patel's points. BELLA SMITH was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with two steals.
Seven Rivers Christian's win bumped their record up to 11-3. As for Patel, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season.
This contest is shaping up to be a blowout: Seven Rivers Christian hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having only averaged 64.4 points per game. It's a different story for Patel, though, as they've been averaging only 41.6 points per game. The only thing between Seven Rivers Christian and another offensive beatdown is Patel. Will they be able to keep them contained?
Seven Rivers Christian ended up a good deal behind Patel in their previous meeting back in December of 2021, losing 54-37. Can Seven Rivers Christian avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
