The Live Oak Acorns pushed their score all the way to 60 on Wednesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell just short of Hill by a score of 63-60. Live Oak has struggled against Hill recently, as their contest on Wednesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Several Acorns players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Nathan Lozano, who scored 12 points along with eight assists and eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Raymond Ramirez, who scored 19 points.
Live Oak has traveled a rocky road recently having lost 12 of their last 14 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-18 record this season. As for Hill, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-9.
Live Oak didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 74-54 defeat vs. Ann Sobrato on the 9th. Hill does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
