The Anthem Prep Eagles will head out on the road to face off against Uintah River at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Anthem Prep is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
Anthem Prep put the finishing touches on their sixth blowout victory of the season last Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 73-40 victory over Varsity Opponent at home. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Anthem Prep has posted since December 12, 2023.
Uintah River managed to slip by Salt Lake Academy the last time these teams faced off, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Uintah River ended up on the wrong side of a rough 65-44 walloping at the hands of Salt Lake Academy on Friday. Uintah River was down 45-25 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.
Anthem Prep's win bumped their record up to 11-0. As for Uintah River, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Everything came up roses for Anthem Prep against Uintah River in their previous meeting back in December of 2023 as the team secured a 91-10 victory. Will Anthem Prep repeat their success, or does Uintah River have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
