There's no place like home for the Chapelgate Christian Academy Yellowjackets, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They managed a 59-54 victory over Concordia Prep on Wednesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Chapelgate Christian Academy also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2023.
Among those leading the charge was Bryson Milledge, who scored 16 points along with six assists and five rebounds. That's the first time this season that he scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Zawadi Smith, who scored ten points.
Chapelgate Christian Academy's victory was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-6. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.3 points per game. As for Concordia Prep, they now have a losing record at 6-7.
Chapelgate Christian Academy will be playing at home against St. Mary's at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. St. Mary's comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Concordia Prep, they will head out on the road to face off against Annapolis Area Christian at 5:30 p.m. on January 19th.
