Cypress Springs lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Stoney Hadnot, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 12 rebounds. Hadnot scored a full 37% of Cypress Springs' points, the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Landon Veal, who scored ten points along with nine rebounds.
Shadow Creek's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Michael Collins, who scored 21 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaden Tate, who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds and four blocks.
Cypress Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 12-3. As for Shadow Creek, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-2 record this season.
