After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Salado, Gateway College Preparatory was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They blew past the Taylor Ducks 9-1. Chloe Ellis was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 16 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits (and not a single walk).
